Windows 2000 & XP
Right click on My Computer on the desktop or click on Start and then My Computer:

Click on View system information located under System Tasks. The Processor, Operating System, and Memory will appear as shown:

Note: The customer can also find contact information if they need additional support from the manufacturer of their computer by clicking on the Support Information button.
If using DELL start with these steps: Right click on Start and click on Explore (this will open all the files on the computer). Then click on Help in the tool bar and then Help and Support Center.

Click on Computer Information:

Then click on Detailed computer information and the following information will be displayed:

If none of the above works, then click on Start, Run and type winmsd in the box that opens as follows:

Click OK
The system information will appear that list the operating system as the first item in the list under System Summary:

Processor: Click on the plus sign located beside Hardware Resources and click on Memory.

Modem: shown here as Conexant HSF V92 56K Data Fax PCI Modem

Windows 95/98
Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and from the menu select Properties.
This will open the System Properties window.

The System heading tells you which version of Windows you have installed. The Computer heading tells you the type of Processor that you have installed and the amount or RAM memory you have.
Click the Cancel button to close this window.
Double click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop to open the My Computer folder.

Right click on the icon for your C: drive and from the menu select Properties.

The second column in the Free Space area tells you how much unused Hard Drive space you have on your C: drive.
Windows ME
Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and from the menu select Properties.
This will open the System Properties window.
